For more information regarding water, sewer and electric hookups, please contact Long Grove City Hall at 563-285-4904. Deposits are required prior to obtaining utilities. Natural gas is received from Mid-American Energy, cable television is received from MediaCom and telephone service is received from Central Scott Telephone.
Garbage Service
Allied Waste collects garbage and recycables on Thursdays. Long Grove provides bi-weekly recycling. Recyclables must be to the curb by 8:00 a.m. The City provides a recycling bin. The City of Long Grove has a spring and fall clean-up day. Grass and leaves are picked up on Tuesday if placed at the curb by 8:00 a.m. in City of Long Grove waste bags.
